Open Team
Tournament
10/15/2011 Clarks Hill
We want to thank Lighthouse Baptist Church
for hosting us on Friday night. This is the
second year that these folks have welcomed us to their facility. Bobby Jackson of the F.O.M.N.T.T.
brought the inspirational message which resulted in one rededication. We thank God for this inspiring
presentation of the Gospel. The
steak dinner and fixins were exceptional.
Saturday was a beautiful day for fishing with
28 boats blasting off. As weigh in started, it
was apparent, the quality bass were not willing to play, but much of the field found
keeper fish of at least 12” to bring to the scale.
First place went to the team of Joshua Baggott and Corey Holsenback with 12.30 lbs. Second
place went to Hans Cansler with 10.45 lbs. and third
place went to Kevin and Randy Gordon with 9.42 lbs. Mike Williford and Wayne
Rutherford caught the big fish of the tournament at 3.33 lbs. Second big fish
of 3.11 lbs. was caught by Kyle Cox and Lee Mayle.
We want to
thank Chick-fil-A
of Aiken/Augusta for
providing chicken sandwiches for all the fishermen following the tournament.
We would also like to take this opportunity
to thank all the fine organizations that made this tournament possible; Aiken
Christian Bass Anglers, Millbrook Christian Anglers, South Carolina Baptist
Convention, F.O.M.N.T.T., Feaster’s Foods, Chick-fil-A
of Aiken/Augusta, Hootie’s Outdoors, Deep Creek
Lures, Number One Market, Sutton Marine, and Outdoors Unlimited.
First Place: Corey Holsenback & Joshua Baggott 12.30 lbs.
