Derrick caught 1 fish totaling 4.01 lbs. which was also the big fish of the tournament.

3/26/2015 – 3/28/2015 Tommy Youngblood Memorial Fishing Classic Results

Congratulations to Aaron Phegley for winning the 2015 classic. Over the three day event, Aaron weighed in 14 fish for a total of 38.33 lbs.

Bobby Griffin caught the big fish weighing 7.64 lbs. The youth winner was Joey Phegley, who caught 5 fish totaling 11.40 lbs.

13 individuals participated in the annual event. Jeff Murray led the devotional on Thursday night and Chris Rose led the devotional on Friday night.

The weather was very cooperative for all 3 days. Rain moved in on Thursday evening and hung around for the first part of Friday morning. The fish were in their pre-spawn and spawn hangouts. Reports indicated that bass were caught sight fishing and targeting pre-spawn areas using various techniques including Shakey Heads, flukes, carolina rigs, spinner baits, and jigs. 77 bass were weighed in totaling 192 lbs. A great fellowship was enjoyed by all.

Big fish honors went to Jeff Murray with a fish weighing 4.62 lbs.

The youth division went to Joey Phegley for catching 2 fish totaling 3.09 lbs.
