4/18/2013 – 4/20/2013 Tommy Youngblood Memorial Fishing Classic Results

Congratulations to Barry Beasley for winning the 2013 classic. Over the three day event, Barry weighed in 15 fish for a total of 39.13 lbs. Congratulations to Michael Rose for catching the big bass of the tournament at 6 lbs - 13 oz.

17 individuals participated in the annual event. Rev. Jerry Broughton led the devotional on Thursday and Friday nights.

The weather was beautiful for the first two days, mild temperatures in the morning but warming up during the day with a breeze out of the south. Saturday morning brought cooler temperatures and stronger winds. Reports indicated that bass were caught using various techniques including sight fishing and fishing points with; spinner baits, swim baits, top water, flukes, and carolina rigs. 114 bass were weighed in totaling 294 lbs. Some very good fishing and a great fellowship was enjoyed by all.
