2008 TCBC Christian Bass Anglers Champions

Adult Division – Bobby Griffin

Bobby fished all 11 events and attended all meetings. He finished the year with 981 total points and a total of 34 fish weighing 59.05 lbs.

Youth Division – Matthew Jones

Matthew fished all 11 events and attended all meetings. He finished the year with 993 total points and a total of 16 fish weighing 25.12 lbs.

Big Bass of the Year – Chris Rose - 7.02 lbs.

Chris caught the big bass using a shaky head worm during the July 12^th night tournament on Lake Murray.

Tommy Youngblood Memorial Fishing Classic Results

Congratulations to Chris Woodward for winning the adult division. Over the three day event, Chris weighed in 14 fish for a total of 28 lbs - 6 oz. and the big bass of the tournament at 6 lbs - 10 oz. Kyle Avent won the youth division with 11 fish weighing in at 14 lbs.

This was our largest retreat to date with 52 individuals participating in the annual event. 42 bass fishermen competed in the bass tournament and 10 striper fishermen also attended. Rev. Joe Youngblood led the devotional on Thursday and Friday nights.

The weather was beautiful for all three days, except for a little rain on Saturday afternoon. With the arrival of spring, the bass had started to move into the shallows to spawn, some had actually gone on the beds. 340 bass were weighed in totaling 522 lbs and a great fellowship was enjoyed by all.
